The seventh humanitarian aid convoy sent by European Al-Wafaa campaign arrived on Monday at Jdaidet Yabous crossing point on the Syrian-Lebanese borders, consisting of 18 trucks carrying heaters, blankets and food.
"The convoy includes winter blankets, heaters, wears, food and children milk to be distributed to the families affected and displaced in light of the current conditions", leader of the campaign Amen Abu Rashed said in a statement.
He added that part of the aid will be allocated to the families of al-Yarmouk camp.
Coordinator of the campaign in Syria "Ala Khalil" said that the aid convoys run by the campaign is organized by a number of Palestinian civil societies in Europe under the motto "in loyalty to our families in Syria" to alleviate the suffering of the affected families.
European al-Wafaa campaign has organized a number of aid and relief convoys last year, the latest of which arrived in Damascus on December 21st, 2013.
