More than 100 Algerians fight with extremists in Syria

SANA reported, quoting an Algerian security official  that  thirty Algerian were killed during fighting with foriegn  militants and  armed opposition groups in Syria and that the Algerian security forces identified their names.

The Algerian newspaper quoted an official in Algerian  intelligence as saying that the number of Algerians who joined the "the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant" affiliated with al Qaeda,  are ranging between 100 and 120 component of whom 80 had been accurately identified  ,where  15 others are missing , he said, that many of these jihadists  holds French citizenship, and some of them fought in the ranks of al-Qaeda in Iraq and some of them fought with Fatah al-Islam in Lebanon.

The Algerian official pointed to the transfer of six recruits per month to Syria from November  last year until June, most of them descended from Algiers and eastern states and the south-east.
