Two women have appeared in court charged with arranging funds for possible use by terrorists in Syria.
The pair, both from London, were arrested last week and appeared at Westminster magistrates court on Thursday.
Amal Elwahabi, 27, from Willesden, north-west London, and Nawal Msaad, 26, from Holloway, north London, were charged on Wednesday with having jointly entered into or become concerned in an arrangement as a result of which money was made available or was to be made available to another, and they knew or had reasonable cause to suspect that it would or may be used for the purposes of terrorism.
The alleged offence took place between 13 and 16 January this year, and relates to terrorist activity in Syria.
The pair, who appeared together in the dock, spoke only to give their identities and to confirm that they were not seeking to immediately enter a plea.
They were remanded in custody until 31 January, when they will appear together at the Old Bailey.
