An explosion occurred today morning in Haret Hreik in the southern suburbs of Beirut with reports of casualties.
A security source said the blast occurred on Arid Street, about 70 meters from the site of the Jan. 2 explosion in the same neighborhood.
Smoke and fire from a burning car engulfed a building in the area.
The source said it was too early to determine the nature of the blast.
Security and medics sources confirmed 4 death.
Hezbollah vowed to continue its fight against what it called Israeli-backed takfiri groups, shortly after a car bomb explosion ripped through a Hezbollah-affiliated Beirut suburb.
Hezbollah MP "Ali Ammar" described as "terrorist attack" Tuesday’s bombing in Haret Hreik, saying it reveals the two faces of Israel.
Ammar said at the site of the bombing "the Israeli enemy has another face: the takfiri face that is trying to undermine the resistance and coexistence", adding "the resistance will remain a resistance through the tripartite of ‘the resistance, the Army, and the people".
