Lebanon's Sleiman might approve a neutral government

Lebanese President "Michel Sleiman" warned he would approve the formation of a neutral government if the rival parties failed to agree on an all-embracing Cabinet within the next 10 days.

Hadi Hobeish , an MP in former Prime Minister Saad Hariri’s Future blocm said that Sleiman "has given a 10-day ultimatum to form an all-inclusive government" ,stressing that Sleiman warned he would support a non-partisan government if there were no signs of progress toward ending the Cabinet crisis.

The warring political camps – March 8 and March 14 – have been at odds over the type of government that would take over the caretaker Cabinet of Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

The Future Movement Wednesday sought an inquiry into the shape of the new Cabinet based on an 8-8-8 lineup, after such a proposal recently came to light.
