SANA News Agency said that the Syrian government evacuated some 5,000 people from an embattled industrial town of Adra near Damascus where Al-Qaeda-linked militants.
In the town of Adra, northeast of Damascus, the evacuation was negotiated after opposition militants from the al-Qaeda linked al-Nusra Front, swept into the city earlier this monthm committing ferocious masseurs.
Social Affairs Minister "Kinda Shammat" said that more than 5,000 people were evacuated from the town. In a statement carried by SANA. Shammat said the people have been moved to a safe place, and the ministry has established operation rescue rooms to offer aid and support.
