U.N aid airplane arrives to Qamishli

An aid airplane arrived in Qamishli International Airport loaded with 37 tons of non-food aid offered by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) to the displaced and poor families in the province.

UNHCR regional director "Mustafa Hasan"  said that the relief aid includes covers, kitchenware, cleaners and requirements for children.

More aid airplanes are expected to arrive until December 26th. Qamishli International Airport has received 10 aid airplanes so far.

Over 20 tons of humanitarian and relief aid offered by the European Solidarity Campaign arrived on board an airplane in Damascus International Airport on Saturday.

The UN World Food Program (WFP) and the UN High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) sent two airplanes loaded with various relief supplies that arrived Friday evening in Qamishli International Airport.
