Car bomb targets Hezbollah’s center in east Lebanon

An explosives-laden vehicle exploded in east Lebanon today killing its driver and wounding two members from Hezbollah without exchanging gunfire .

A Lebanese sources said Hezbollah fighters in a van were attempting to intercept the vehicle when it exploded in Sbouba, where the group maintains a military camp.

In a brief statement, the Lebanese Army said that a Grand Cherokee blew up on the road to Sbouba, northwest of Baalbek, at 2:50 a.m., damaging a number of vehicles. The military has launched a probe.
