Israeli delegation to Ankara to discuss compensating "Marmara's" victims

" Yediot Ahronot " Israeli newspaper, said that high-level Israeli delegation visit Ankara to discuss financial compensation to the families of those killed by Israeli forces' fire at " Mavi Marmara " ship, which was part of the flotilla bound for Gaza in 2010 .


The newspaper added that "the national security adviser of Israeli prime minister " Yossi Cohen " headed the Israeli delegation , and was also attended by the Israeli private envoy with Turkey " Yusuf Chikhanovar " . The newspaper  also drew that "the delegation's visit to Ankara last Tuesday made avery important progress and managed to reduce the gap on the size and the value of the several million dollar-compensation  ".


The Turkish government hasn't yet succeeded in obtaining  a pledge from the victim's families to drop suits in case they receive payment of compensation .
