Abbas: Palestinian demands can't be waived

Palestinian President ”Mahmoud Abbas", announced yesterday that The Palestinians won't cede from having a Palestinian state with its capital in Jerusalem , vowing to intensive work in order to realize the hopes of the Palestinian people and uphold the national principles .

 

According to the Palestinian news agency "WAFA"  , Abbas said on the occasion of the first anniversary of  accepting Palestine as an observer state in UN : " we won't cede one jot of the Palestinian demands , we won't sign any peace agreement that doesn't meet the aspirations of our people of an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital , in addition to solving the refugee problem in accordance with Arab Peace Initiative " .

 

Abbas reiterated his commitment to work for releasing all Palestinian prisoners and detainees through any peace deal signed in the future .
