"Human Rights Watch " accused Egyptian authorities of " detention  more than 1,500 Syrian refugees , in addition to at least 400 Palestinians and 250 children were trying to migrate illegally to Europe , because they suffer economic crisis , and growing hostility from the Egyptians toward them.

The organization documented cases of detention two month children with members of their families  in overcrowded and unsanitary facilities without providing them with basic needs , arguing that what is happening in Egypt is a violation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

The organization added that the arbitrary Egyptian detention of refugees from Syria and threatening them to be transported  into regular prisons , forced them to leave Egypt to Etjhoa  and in some cases to countries where their lives or freedom is threatened , demanding the Egyptian authorities to release all detained refugees without any charges , and to hold accountable the responsible of these practices.
