Syrian Catholic Archbishop in Hasaka: " Qamishli and Hasakah didn't witness a massacre of Christians"

 Bishop Jacques Behnam Hindu , Syrian Catholic archbishop in al-Hasakah ,  said that "the cities of Qamishli and Hasakah didn't witness a massacre of Christians, and the Syrian army gives the impression that he is able to defeat the rebels when and however he wants ."

The bishop explained in a statement to the  " Fides " Vatican news agency , commenting on the news circulated about the massacre of seventy Christians , including three priests who claimed killed by gunmen in Qamishli , that "the news is unfounded , and I was at lunch with the priests in Qamishli . "


 Hindu  said "in recent weeks the grip of anti- Syrian regime's militias eased too much on the two urban centers in Mesopotamia , and  Kurdish militias are  active in the region , working in cooperation with the Syrian army , and the internal conflicts inceased between the opposition groups" . He added that " jihadi groups like Islamic state in Iraq and the Levant is  fighting all the other teams"  .
