  UN Deputy Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs Valerie Amos , announced that there are about 2.5 million people deprived from humanitarian aid in Syria.

  Amos viewed during an open meeting of Security Council members on the humanitarian situation in Syria after an invitation from the council president directed to all the warring parties to provide an opportunity to allow access to those who need assistance.

Amos also pointed out that there are about two thousand armed groups in Syria which collide regularly , causing sever transportation routes to deliver humanitarian aid .
