Syrian Deputy Prime Minister Qadri Jamil in an interview with Russia Today" channel stressed on the need to hold accountable " eminent corrupt in Syria who went on a rampage and damaged  Syrian economy and society".  Jamil added that "symbols of corruption who were the beneficiaries of their relations with the State moved outside syria and became opposition," adding that "all who has a corruption file became opposition party".

   Qadri Jamil, who is Secretary-General of the opposition Popular Party , said  "corruption isn't one-single party " ,  expressing his concern that " corrupts might unite against (the two parties) to resolve the crisis at the expense of the Syrian people and Syria,  so that must be prevented ."
