Ahmad Badr al-Din Hassoun, Grand Mufti of Syria,  said in a television interview , that " who got armed to change the regime in Syria, had sinned and had to govern society with equality and justice, then the governor will fall , and regime changing can't be done  through fighting but dialogue , pointing to " the presence of more than 80 countries  which sent fighters to Syria  but did not win , because Syria defends resistance and afford a lot to abide by resistance approach. "

Hassoun  regarded that Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Moallem , " spoke at the United Nations on behalf of the Syrian people and this word remained due to unite of  the Syrian people ," adding that he " does not blame the West for what is happening in Syria and the Arab countries , but blames the Arab nation and Muslim that transformed her case for Palestine " , heading in a  word to the President of the Palestinian Authority , Mahmoud Abbas , that Syria did not condemn Palestinian and the Philistines people , but did its responsibility towards  ."
